Garden Club Scholarship (0.3 MiB)
The garden club does a number of fundraisers each year: from an annual plant auction and plant sale in May, raffles at the Forest Hills Community Day, and in the Fall both spring bulbs and poinsettia sales. These add to the beautification of the community and support the club’s service projects. Please note our fundraisers are open to everyone. Details for the current events can be found below.

Visit the Gardens in Forest Hills
Each year our club members tend for your enjoyment the Forest Hills Main Park’s Butterfly and Hillside Gardens, Ardmore Boulevard’s Daylily and Grass Beds, and areas by the Municipal Building, Pool and Library. New this year, the club has converted the Borough owned corner lot bordered by Avenues A and E into a low maintenance green space along with members of the Rotary Club of Forest Hills and the support of several Forest Hills residents including our designer, Sara Madden. Check out this site! It is on your way to the Library.
Late Bloomers Garden Club
The Late Bloomers Garden Club of Forest Hills formed in 1999. The members are a spirited group who gather outside of their daily work schedules to give color and beauty to the Forest Hills Community.
The group maintains 6 flower beds along Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills. Monthly meetings are held at one of the member’s houses.
The Late Bloomers also created the Forest Hills Farmers’ Market in 2003. The first season started in June and ran through October of that same year. It has returned annually since then, and is a successful contribution to the Forest Hills community. To learn more about the Late Bloomers please visit our website at www.latebloomersgardenclub.com.
