2011 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
Background The
Planning Commission is a body created by
borough council as
established
under the PA Muncipalities Planning Code (for information on the code
click the following link to access a series of booklets published by
the state including the PA MPC which is shown first under the section
entitled
"Planning Series" near the bottom of the page -
PUBS).
Section 209.1 outlines the duties of the commission.
Membership on the commission is open to all residents of Forest Hills.
Typically membership positions are open March 1 and the borough
advertises for volunteers to fill such positions as early as December
of the previous year.
Other vacancies are filled as openings occur and are advertised at the
borough building and in the newspaer. Anyone interested in
membership on the commssion should contact the borough office or a
current commission member for information.
Minutes The
Minutes are posted here after they have been submitted to the borough
office by the planning commission secretary.
