Crime Alert System - Keeping the community informed is one of the best ways to combat crime.  In the event of an alert, subscribers to the crime alert system receive a phone call with a prerecorded message describing the current matter at hand.  If you would like to receive alert calls you can subscribe by calling 351-7346 between 7AM and 3PM weekdays and provide your Name, Address and Phone Number to be added to the crime alert system.  Some alerts are targeted to specific areas of the borough while other alerts are sent out borough-wide, depending on the nature of the matter.

You can always listen to the Current Alert Message by dialing 351-2278.
